Horrocks Waste Management Limited is the first stop in the waste recycling industry. We engage the initial separation and implementation of environmentally friendly practices.
Waste is brought into our yard via our skip hire facilities and third-party tipping from other companies. Once the waste is tipped in our designated tipping area our expert machine operators use the plant machinery to begin separating the waste into distinct stockpiles of wood, metal, hardcore, plastic, pvc, soil.
Wood is then further separated into class A, the most recyclable material and then class B and class C which are lower grade.
Metals are then separated into their different categories such as copper, brass, aluminium, steel, lead etc.
Once all the larger waste has been separated, the smaller material is then loaded onto our state-of-the-art tommel which our waste operatives use to then further separate into the different waste streams.
We are partnered with many companies who take our separated waste for repurposing into new products.
All of our hardcore is kept on site and used for inert crushing activities to be turned into recycling 6F2 for the construction industry.
