A 4-yard skip or “Midi Skip” is a compact yet versatile waste disposal solution, perfect for small to medium-sized projects. It holds around 30 to 40 refuse sacks, making it ideal for clearing out household clutter, garden waste, or small DIY jobs. Its manageable size means it can fit easily on driveways or tight spaces, which is great if you don’t have much room to spare.
This skip size is especially useful for minor home renovations, such as refitting a kitchen or bathroom. You can use it to dispose of old fixtures, broken tiles, and general construction debris. If you’re tidying up your garden, it’s also suitable for getting rid of soil, branches, and other green waste.
A 4-yard skip offers excellent value for smaller clearances. It’s more cost-effective than hiring a larger skip if you only have a limited amount of waste. Plus, by hiring a skip that’s just the right size, you avoid overpaying for unused space. Whether you’re a homeowner using our residential skip hire to declutter or a tradesperson booking commercial skip hire for a small project, a 4-yard skip is a practical and budget-friendly choice. And if you’d rather transport waste yourself, our third party tipping service is a convenient alternative. For dependable skip hire sized to your project, choose Horrocks Waste Management.
