At Horrocks Waste Management, we are excited to expand our services into the production of high-quality recycled aggregates. Using our on-site Rubble Master RM60 crusher, we process a variety of solid inert materials, transforming waste into valuable resources for the construction industry.
How we produce our aggregates
We handle a wide range of materials, including brick, block, and hardcore, which arrive at our facility through skips (including our residential skip hire and commercial skip hire services), third party tipping, and aggregate-specific tipping. Materials from skips are carefully separated and transported to our crushing area, while hardcore delivered by haulage firms and builders is often already pre-sorted, allowing for more efficient processing.
For loads that require no additional processing, we offer free tipping, enabling these materials to go straight to the crusher. This ensures quick turnaround times and allows us to streamline production while minimising waste.
At present, we produce 6F2 recycled aggregates, a versatile material widely used in construction. This durable product is perfect for a variety of applications, such as sub-bases for roads, driveways, and building foundations. By recycling construction waste into 6F2, we’re reducing landfill waste while supplying a sustainable, cost-effective alternative to virgin aggregates.
Future Production
While 6F2 is currently our primary product, we are actively working towards expanding our range of recycled aggregates. In the near future, we plan to offer sized and graded materials, including:
10mm, 20mm, and 40mm pipe bedding
Clean graded MOT
These products will provide even more options for customers looking for reliable, high-quality materials for construction and landscaping projects.
