You will have walked or driven past thousands of skips in your lifetime, but you might never have considered using one yourself. For some projects, you might have opted to make a huge number of trips to the dump, paid someone to come and collect a large pile of rubbish at an inflated cost from your garden or you might even have avoided taking on a project because of the mess and annoyance it would cause. Here are 3 projects that can be made more manageable, more convenient and a lot simpler if you hire a skip:
- Garden Clearance – Making your garden beautiful, even if you are paying a landscaper to do it, can be a big waste challenge. Skip hire is almost always the best waste removal solution for your garden clearance. The most common forms of waste created during a garden clean out can all go in a skip such as organic waste, soil, wood, metal, plastics, domestic waste and building rubble.
- House Clearance – Whether it is time for a major spring clean, or you have a house to clear out to sell, a skip can save you time, money and hassle by allowing you to collect all your rubbish together and get it picked up in one go. Just be aware that we can take almost anything for your house including cookers, but you can’t put fridges or freezers in one of our skips!
- Building works – It might seem an obvious one, but if you are having an extension built, a loft conversion or any renovation works, you should consider getting a skip for the inevitable rubbish that will emerge, even if it seems like a small project. Plastering, painting and building creates a huge amount of mess and rubbish, and your builder may not bring their own. Save yourself the hassle!
